Remove the lock top battery cover.
Locate the reset pinhole.
Remove one battery from the lock to power it off.
Insert a paperclip into the pin hole and press and hold the reset button. While holding the button, re-insert the battery to enter the ‘Device Firmware Upgrade’ (DFU) mode.
Open the Avia app on your device.
Hit settings in the bottom right corner.
Navigate to ‘Recover devices that have failed firmware update’.
Your device should appear in this list. Select your lock from the list to initiate a Device Firmware Upgrade and allow the lock to update.
